Summary

God demonstrated in Jesus' promise to destroy the Temple that even the good things God gives will be removed when they no longer glorify him. Christ made the Temple obsolete by entering the true Holy of Holies in the heavens. Believers should avoid placing glory in created things, whether buildings, the accomplishments of men, or even ministries, because it is God who creates them all and is worthy of the glory.
