Can Christians be under a curse? Whenever we do not have faith or disobey, we sin against God and are not blessed. The glorious news is that God has made a way for redemption!

Our sin against God not only hurts us. It hurts everyone to include future generations. Disobedience always brings curse. Sin and disobedience separates us from God and His best for us.

Are we thirsty for the things of God? What satisfies our thirst, the things of this world or the Holy Spirit? We cannot last long without the water of the Holy Spirit. We must drink daily.

We often make the Gospel complicated. The Bible is clear. It is all about Jesus - plus or minus nothing.

The definition of compassion is "sympathetic pity and concern for the sufferings and misfortunes of others". Do our hearts and lives reflect this?

What does the Bible say about blessings and curses? Where did they originate?

It's imperative we tell our children and others the stories of how God saved us and all He has done. We need to remind them of His goodness and mercy. If we don't, we run the risk of a generation not knowing about God. Telling our stories encourages others and ourselves.

God holds His children to different standards. We do not behave and believe as the world. There is a reward for obedience and a price for disobedience. God will not bless disobedient children.

Does it seem that some behavior or illnesses seem to be handed down from generation to generation? The Bible speaks of generational curses, how they originate and how to break them.

A banner is a symbol used throughout the Bible. It is used to identify many things - military, warnings, groups, conditions and love. God's banner over us is love.
