“Household of God – Chosen!” - Ephesians 1:3-4 Theme for 2013: Household of God – understanding that we are the Household of God and what it means to be the Household of God. Review: Every believer is a member of the Household of God. Every local church built upon the teaching of the apostles & prophets, with Jesus as the Cornerstone, is a household of God. Every member of God’s household is sent forth with orders, a saint set apart by God for God, a recipient of God’s grace & peace, blessed by the Father with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies, in Christ. Ephesians 1:3-4 Members of the Household of God are: I)Chosen in Christ! II)Before the foundation of the world III)That we should be holy and blameless before Him Vitally important: I)See ourselves as God sees us – His chosen ones. II)See our brothers & sisters in Christ as God sees them. If you’re unsure whether or not you are chosen by God: Embrace Jesus Christ by faith as your Savior & Lord – hope in Him alone for right standing with God & eternal life. Call on Jesus Christ & come to Him just as you are – humbly receive Him. Romans 10:13 We are the Household of God!
