Summary

Paul sets a trap for the religious. Paul sets a trap for the moral. First, he convinces us that the irreligious deserve wrath and judgment in Romans 1:18-32. And as our 'amen' still is heard, Paul turns the tables. He then argues that the religious deserve judgment just as much, because we sin the same way as the irreligious. Paul brings us all under condemnation so that we can see that we can only be saved by the blood of Jesus Christ.
